Samantha hits yet another milestone, now has 10 million followers on Instagram

Hyderabad: Samantha Akkineni's back to back hits in 2019 has made her the reigning queen of Tollywood. On 26 May, the actor achieved yet another milestone when she hit 10 million followers on the photo-blogging app Instagram.
Samantha took to social media to celebrate the news. She is perhaps the only leading celebrity down south to hit such a big number. In fact, she has three times the followers compared to her male counterparts in Tollywood.
The actor, who is known for her largesse, announced she will donate to 10 NGOs to celebrate the occasion.
Her Twitter was flooded with congratulatory messages from fans, co-stars, and well-wishers. Samantha posted a photo from her movie 'Oh!Baby', which was a massive hit in both Telugu and Tamil.
The actor is known for her candour and her posts are predominantly about work, fashion, her husband, and sometimes her pet, Hash.
Samantha was last seen in the movie 'Jaanu', a remake of the Tamil film '96'. Although the movie received mixed responses, her acting was lauded by fans and critics. She is currently working on Vignesh Sivan's 'Kaathuvakula Rendu Kaadhal' along with Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupati. There are reports that she will also be seen in Ashwin Saravanan's next film alongside Prasanna. She also announced that it is going to be a female-centric film.
