Narayana Reddy is an ambulance driver at Nampally Care Hospital and Geetha runs a milk parlour at home. On Tuesday morning, she made the boy sit in the shop and got busy with household chores. The boy took her smartphone and started playing PUBG. Meanwhile, a man came for a milk packet, but the boy did not notice him. Hearing the man Geetha came out to see Manikanta busy on the phone and scolded him for ignoring the customer.

Triggered by his mother’s reaction, the boy threw the mobile to the ground, ran inside and locked himself. His mother continued her work assuming that Manikanta has gone to sleep. Later, she found him hanging from the ceiling fan. With her neighbor Ravinder Reddy’s help, she brought the boy down and took him to the Care Hospital where he was declared brought dead.
