T govt sacked 144 outsourcing employees, including malis and watchmen

T Rama Rao, directed the private sectors to adopt various strategies but not sack its employees, the Telangana government removed 144 out-sourcing employees. Those sacked include malis/ malans and private security guards serving at the Horticulture (government gardens) department.
An order was issued by the Deputy Director Technical, government gardens, on April 17th. Notably a day before the Minister addressed a letter to the private sector appealing to not sack its employees.
The letter read, "Service of 45 outsourcing employees are removed from April 15th. It is informed that due to corona virus epidemic the government is facing financial crisis and have to earmark more budget to prevent from corona epidemic. In view of the situation, the remaining 99 (number of outsourcing) employees (malis/malans/ watchmen) provided to the deputy directors technical's office in Hyderabad, are removed.
It is to note that 45 employees were removed as on April 17th and another 99 have been terminated from the service from May 1st. " The bills for the month of April 2020 as per actual shall be submitted to undersigned and it necessary to enclose all EPFs and other statutory challans along with bills' said the letter.
