Telangana minister’s relative Raghuveer Reddy, Ukrainian woman booked for throwing `booze' party

Hyderabad: Police have booked a relative of Telangana minister and his friends including a Ukrainian woman for throwing a “booze” party in Park Hyatt hotel at Banjara Hills.
Police told the media that it was a booze party hosted by TOT pub owner Santosh Reddy for his friends. Police said only liquor was seized from the venue.
Banjara Hills police registered a case against Raghuveer Reddy, the minister’s relative, his friends Santosh Reddy, Vijayarama Rao, Bhanukiran and the four women under the Epidemic Diseases Act, Disaster Management Act, Excise Act, and other relevant sections.
The Ukrainian woman was found to be working for Santosh Reddy as an event organizer. The suite, in which the party was organized on Saturday night, was booked under her name. Banjara Hills police said the investigation is underway.
It may be noted that in January 2020, Hyderabad city police along with Excise enforcement sleuths conducted raids at TOT pub at Jubilee hills for organizing “obscene dance party”. Around 22 women were apprehended.
Inquiries revealed that women from different cities were hired on a monthly basis. A few of them had been working for close to a year. The case was registered at Jubilee Hills police station.
