Trailer of Ayushmann’s Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan promises an enjoyable rom-com

The trailer of his next film Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavdhan is out and the actor plays a gay in the flick opposite Jitendra Kumar, of Kota Factory-fame. Neena Gupta, Gajraj, Manurishi Chadda, Manvi Gagroo and others play key roles.
The film stars Ayushmann and Jitendra as two men in love, and cannot get latter’s family to accept their relationship. Gajraj Rao plays the strict father who is ready to do anything to get his son ‘straight’. He also brings a beautiful young woman to woo his son, but nothing actually works. He even beats his lover to pulp.
The trailer has some amazing dialogues, which promise that the film will be an out and out entertainer. Ayushmann has shared three new posters. In one of them, Jitendra is seen dressed like a groom and Ayushmann is sitting on his lap, posing for the photograph, while their family members are trying to stop them from what they were doing. They look unhappy and are trying to get Jitendra back to their side.
One of the most interesting scenes of the trailer is where Ayushmann and Jitendra have re-created the popular train scene from Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge. This scene has become a meme and fans are all praise for Ayushmann.
Directed by Hitesh Kewalya, Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavdhan is slated for release on February 21. It is produced by Anand L Rai, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Himanshu Sharma.
Netizens appreciate Ayushamann for picking up such an amazing script on homosexuality, which is now accepted as being ‘normal’. The trailer of this romantic comedy is winning hearts already.
