TV actor Kushal Punjabi commits suicide
By Bhavana Published on 27 Dec 2019 8:37 AM GMTMumbai: Popular television actor Kushal Punjabi committed a suicide by hanging himself at his residence here. The 37-year-old actor was last seen playing Danny in Ishq Mein Marjawan.
Karanvir Bohra, who is one of Kushalās closest friends in the industry, announced the new of the latterās death and wrote a heartfelt note by sharing a series of pics.

The way you lead your life really inspired me in more ways than one....but what was I to know. Your zest for dancing, fitness, off-road biking, fatherhood and above all that, that smiling face of yours, your happy-go-lucky nature your warmth all that was such ingenuity. Reasons for his death are not yet revealed, although many maintained that he has been suffering from depression for quite some time. Also, just a couple of hours before he committed suicide, he updated his bio on his Twitter profile, where he added, āCurrently transiting planet earthā. On his Instagram stories, he even shared a couple of pictures of his son.
He is survived by wife and a four-year-old son, Kian. Kushal walked down the aisle with Audrey Dolhen in November 2015.
Kushal was part of several TV shows, including Love Marriage, CID, Dekho Magar Pyaar Se, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, Yeh Dil Chahe More, Kasam Se, Sssshhh... Phir Koi Hai and Zindagi Wins. He even participated in Fear Factor and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7.
Many television personalities shared emotional posts on Kushalās death. Singer Baba Sehgal wrote, āI just cannot come to the terms that Kushal is no more. Always ready to face challenges of all kinds and such an adorable father. He was a friend but more like a younger brother to me. RIP #KushalPunjabi.ā (sic)
