Two men pull out toy pistol, threaten local people in Hyderabad; arrested

The pistol, the cops later found out, was a toy pistol and the two had used it to escape from the spot after an argument with some local people. The men were drunk at the time of the incident. Their vehicle had a āMember of Parliamentā sticker so the police are also inquiring into that.
According to the police, Surapaneni Chaitanya Ram makes short films. He purchased a toy pistol for his work and was carrying it with him on Tuesday night when he, along with his friend Bude Venkat, went out to drink at the MLA colony. While going back home, they lost their way and entered the wrong lane. They were trying to reverse the car when it hit a few parked motorbikes.

Angry locals intercepted the men's vehicle and started questioning them. The two men started an argument with the locals and when the people got agitated they pulled out the toy pistol, threatened them, and forced them to back off. The duo then fled the spot.
Based on a complaint from the local people, the Madhapur police have registered a case and arrested the two men. They have also seized the toy pistol and the vehicle.
