Post the release of the film, Vaani hasn’t announced any of her upcoming movies, but is making headlines for her recent post on social media that earned her much scorn.
The actor posted a picture of her wearing a pink plunging crop top which has ‘Ram’ written all over it. Vaani paired this frilled and knotted crop top with khaki pants.
However, this look of hers was not received well by netizens and in no time she received flak for the outfit.
“Wearing Lord Sri Raam's name on the uncultured dresscode doesn't give value to the actress Vani Kapoor @Vaaniofficial. This is hurting the sentiments of devotees of Lord Sri Raam. We uarge to removed such images from the site and value the devotees sentiments.#vaanikapoor,” tweeted Pratiba Nayak.
Another Twitter user wrote, “Shame on such sick mental actresses who defame our religion and our gods@Vaaniofficial #vaanikapoor #BoycottVaaniKapoor.”
