Hyderabad: Actor Vaani Kapoor is back in form with recent blockbuster War which has Tiger Shroff and Hrithik Roshan in lead roles. Post the release of the film, Vaani hasn’t announced any of her upcoming movies, but is making headlines for her recent post on social media that earned her much scorn.

The actor posted a picture of her wearing a pink plunging crop top which has ‘Ram’ written all over it. Vaani paired this frilled and knotted crop top with khaki pants.

However, this look of hers was not received well by netizens and in no time she received flak for the outfit.

“Wearing Lord Sri Raam’s name on the uncultured dresscode doesn’t give value to the actress Vani Kapoor @Vaaniofficial. This is hurting the sentiments of devotees of Lord Sri Raam. We uarge to removed such images from the site and value the devotees sentiments.#vaanikapoor,” tweeted Pratiba Nayak.

Another Twitter user wrote, “Shame on such sick mental actresses who defame our religion and our [email protected] #vaanikapoor #BoycottVaaniKapoor.”

After receiving backlash on social media for this post, the actor deleted the post. But even then she was trolled for deleting it without saying sorry.

Asking for an apology, a Twitter user wrote: “Meet new Dogli in Town @Vaaniofficial 1st C disrespects our religion by wearing Lord “Shri Ram”name on semi nudecloths Whn caught, C smartly deletes tweet bt didn’t apologise.&nw C is sending PR team 2 defend that it was a morphed pic If it was morphed y u tweeted it at 1st place?.”
