Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu tests positive for COVID, under home quarantine
By Newsmeter Network Published on 29 Sep 2020 4:09 PM GMTHyderabad: The Vice President of India, M. Venkaiah Naidu tested COVID positive on Tuesday. He went for a COVID-19 test on Tuesday morning. The Vice President office said on twitter announced about his test result.
The 71-year-old Vice President Venkaiah Naidu is under home quarantine and is asymptomatic, in good health.
"The Vice President of India who underwent a routine COVID-19 test today morning has been tested positive. He is, however, asymptomatic and in good health. He has been advised home quarantine. His wife Smt. Usha Naidu has been tested negative and is in self-isolation," tweeted Vice President office.

He recently attended the monsoon session of parliament as the chairman of Rajya Sabha. Around 25 members of parliament has been tested positive of COVID 19.
