Youth slips to death shooting TikTok video at Champapet

Hyderabad: Tiktok fetish claimed one more life after a 23 year old youth drowned in a lake while trying to recreate a famous scene from Shri Hari starrer "Bhadrachalam" at Champapet.

Hailing from Katkoni Kunta Colony of Champapet division, Pavan was recreating late actor Sri Hari’s scene of saving a sheep from drowning in the river.

Eyewitnesses said Pavan stepped into the lake with a sheep placed on his shoulders. However when he was trying to recreate the scene, he lost his balance and slipped into the lake. Since he didn't know how to swim, he drowned in the lake.

After postmortem, his body was handed over to the parents. Earlier, his sister had lost her life in a road accident.

Locals said Pavan and his friends were obsessed with TikTok and has been always trying to recreate movie and song sequences
