63 Degrees: In a first, Hyderabad gets its first self-cooking station

Hyderabad: Hyderabad's culinary landscape recently witnessed a technological leap with the introduction of the city's first self-cooking station by 63 Degrees at Gachibowli.

This fully automated WOK machine is designed to transform individuals with basic cooking knowledge into culinary experts.

The self-cooking station features a touch-responsive screen displaying step-by-step instructions for preparing programmed rice and noodle dishes. Each step includes a pre-defined timing displayed as a stopwatch on the screen, ensuring precision in the cooking process.

Owner Prasad K shared the inspiration behind this cutting-edge addition, stating, "While researching for the menu, we came across such machines in Indonesia and wanted to implement the same at our restaurant. Being in the heart of the IT industry zone, we wanted to incorporate technology into our menu and give our guests something new to try and create amazing dishes."

Beyond the self-cooking station, 63 Degrees offers a live pot biryani grill counter, presenting traditional biryani prepared on a tawa and dum pukht in a grill.

Prasad explained, "When we were thinking of a live counter menu, we wanted to have a few dishes that wouldnā€™t be easily available in a buffet menu while being in touch with traditional recipes."

Adding to the diverse menu, 63 Degrees serves the trending cheese wheel pasta, a dish from Italy where piping hot pasta is placed inside a giant cheese wheel and twirled to coat every piece of cheese.

The restaurant goes further to cater to various tastes with a seafood grill, a fusion live chaat counter, and a dessert counter offering over 26 desserts alongside a chocolate fountain.

Prasad mentioned, "While they have all this under one roof, 63 Degrees plans to expand its menu further once its introductory offer concludes."
