Hyderabad: As mango season peaks, Hyderabad’s restaurants are serving up specially curated menus that celebrate the fruit in unexpected and inventive ways. From refreshing drinks to savoury fusion dishes, these seasonal offerings provide diners with a fresh take on the king of fruits. Here are two stops you shouldn’t miss this summer — each bringing its own distinct flavour to the table.
Café Delhi Heights: A mango twist to familiar favourites
Where: Madhapur
Menu runs till: June 15
Cost for two: Rs 1,200 onwards
Café Delhi Heights’ “Mangolicious” menu gives classic comfort food a tropical upgrade. With sweet, tangy, and spicy profiles playing off each other, the menu strikes a balance between playful and punchy.
Start with a sip
The Wild Mango Lassi is a thick blend of honey, saffron, curd, and sabja seeds — ideal for cooling down. For those who prefer something with a kick, the Green Mango Aamras offers a spicy twist using raw mango. There’s also the No-Hangover Mango Mojito — a non-alcoholic take on the classic with a hint of mint and mango nostalgia.
Mango in your mains
Among the appetisers, the Classic Hummus with Mango Salsa stands out — a plate of creamy hummus layered with mango chunks, crispy falafel, and mustard-tempered salsa. It’s served with warm pita bread.
There’s also the Mangolicious Pizza, which pairs gooey cheese with sweet mango slivers on a thin crust, and Mexican-style Quesadillas, stuffed with vegetables and mango, served with sour cream, guacamole, and mango salsa verde.
Finish on a sweet note
The Mango Phirni, served in an earthen pot, combines traditional Indian rice pudding with chunks of mango and almond slivers, making it a light yet satisfying way to end your meal.
Noho Progressive Asian House: Tropical Luxury Meets Asian Flair
Where: Jubilee Hills
Cost for two: Rs 2,500 onwards
Noho’s limited-edition Mango Muse menu brings tropical elements into refined Asian cuisine. With mango-infused drinks and dishes that stretch across Japanese, Thai, and Korean influences, the experience feels cohesive and curated.
Cocktail creations to try
The Mango Matsu uses pandan vodka, mango rice foam, and rice paper to deliver a drink that balances sweetness with salt and umami. Another standout is the Mango Moon, a rum-based cocktail rich in coconut flavour, cut through with hints of passionfruit and mango.
Fusion small plates
The Mango Avocado Arugula Salad is tossed with mint and Thai herbs for a bright, herbaceous bite. The Mango Ebi Tempura blends crunchy tempura shrimp with subtle mango flavours.
There’s also the Fermented Chilli Mango Dim Sum, filled with water chestnut, carrot, celery, and raw mango — delivering both crunch and spice.
Mains and more
The Kyoto Chilli Mango Cold Pizza is a unique dish — thin tortilla base, topped with mango strips, sesame, and Japanese pickles (shibazuke). For a heartier course, the Thai Mango Penang Curry and Raw Mango Kimchi Fried Rice both bring bold flavours with balanced heat.
Dessert without the overload
The Mango Sticky Rice comes with sliced mango, vanilla ice cream, and coconut milk — light, fragrant, and mildly sweet, making it an ideal finish for those avoiding heavier desserts.
Whether you’re in the mood for nostalgic favourites or contemporary Asian fusion, these mango menus offer plenty of seasonal indulgence — available only for a limited time.
