Spearheaded by Hyderabad-born chef Aneesa Waheed, Tara Kitchen stands as her first venture in India, following a successful track record with four restaurants in New York, five across the USA, and one in New Jersey.
Transporting visitors to the enchanting landscapes of Morocco, the restaurant's 60-seater space is designed with a vibrant color scheme and a soothing ambiance. Beyond the gastronomic delights, Tara Kitchen serves as a cultural haven, immersing Hyderabadis in the essence of Morocco through carefully curated decor featuring artifacts, apparel, jewelry, and more available for purchase.

A visit to Tara Kitchen unfolds a delightful culinary journey, starting with a refreshing Moroccan tea served from elegant silver teapots. The Casablanca Platter, featuring three sumptuous dips ā Zaalouk, Parsley Chermoula, and Harissa ā accompanied by pita bread, leaves a splendid impression. The menu showcases a variety of dishes, including the delectable Cigars, minced lamb wrapped in crispy phyllo sheets, and a warm Fig Salad with chickpeas, almonds, and figs tossed in honey harissa dressing.
Highlighting the main course, the Lamb Kefta, featuring juicy meatballs in homemade lemon green olive sauce, and the Lamb Tangia, a classic Moroccan tagine with rich saffron, preserved lemons, and smen (fermented butter), offer a true taste of Morocco. The Shrimps with Parsley Chermoula impresses with tender shrimp cooked in herby parsley chermoula sauce, while the Brinjal Croquette provides a flavorful option for vegetarians.
